Neocryl B 818, It is alcohol & alkali-soluble, solid acrylic copolymer. It exhibits low odour and good water dissolution at pH >8. It works as a modifying binder for overprint varnishes and surface printing inks. It is specially designed for solvent-based flexo inks on films and paper. It is also used as a pigment dispersant. It shows good compatibility with NC, CAP, PVB, PU and acrylic & styrene-acrylic copolymer dispersions.
Neocryl B 890, It is a methacrylic copolymer used for energy-curable systems. It offers good adhesion properties to difficult substrates. It provides low viscosity and excellent compatibility with NC (only in gravure), CAP, PVB and PU-resins. NeoCryl® B-890 is suitable for low residual odour surface printing inks, coatings and for release coating on PET. It is also used in solvent-based flexo inks and inkjet inks.
Bayhydrol E 270 It is Used in combination with water-thinnable amino resins in the formulation of industrial stoving coatings and aqueous stoving primer surfacers for on-line automotive finishing, both with a low co-solvent content. Offers good hardness, flexibility and adhesion.
Neocryl B 819, It is an acrylic styrene copolymer designed for flexo- and gravure inks in combination with nitrocellulose. It is used as an excellent pigment-grinding vehicle. Exhibits high alcohol tolerance for flexo inks. It is recommended for shrink sleeves applications. It is also used in lamination and surface printing inks.
Joncryl 692, This is a general-purpose, mid-range molecular-weight acrylic resin that offers superior value when used as a component in overprint varnishes or as an ink-extender resin. It promotes gloss, holdout, and resolubilized in ink and overprint varnish formulations. Suitable for colour grinding, inks, and varnish.
It is an IBMA polymer. It is an alkyd-compatible acrylic resin designed to have good compatibility with long-oil alkyds. The addition of PARALOID™ B-67MT (45%) to alkyds, oils, or varnishes produces coatings of improved hardness, faster-drying speed, better color and gloss retention, and improved hold out and brushing characteristics. It is supplied as a 45% solids solution in mineral spirits for use where requirements for slightly slower drying speed and/or higher flash point exist.
It is an internally plasticized, solid resin-Type 1-dispersion with improved shear stability. Increases the hardness and chemical resistance. Used for water reducible fast drying anticorrosion primers, single coat and decorative systems with very good adhesion to most metallic substrates and coatings for plastics. For optimum corrosion protection it is recommended using 80 % of the stoichiometric curing agent quantity. To increase the hardness or to improve adhesion to porous substrates it is recommended using BECKOPOX™ EP 386w/52WA together with Beckopox VEH 2188w/55WA.
